Sports and Academics Belt Loops and Pins
Any cub scout can work on these achievements. Some are required for Rank.
Belt Loops are metal awards that can be worn on the cub scout blue belt. They feature the symbol for the achievement.
Example: Map and Compass >> 
Belt Loops have 3 basic requirements that the cub scout must complete.
Pins are awards that can be worn on the cub scout hat or the webelos colors. They feature the symbol for the achievement.
Example: Ultimate >> 
Pins can be earned after the Belt Loop. These requirements will require more work by the cub scout. Additional resources such as the internet, the library or finding a person with knowledge in the area of study may be required.
If you have a specific interest, please check with your leaders so they can coordinate with others that want to work on belt loop or pin.
