Uniforms and Pack 46
Cub Scouts wear uniforms for many reasons. When you see a person in a uniform, you can tell who they are and what they do. Sports team wear uniforms. So do Police officers and Firefighters.
Scouts also wear a uniform. A Cub Scout, belongs to a special group of people that gives service to their community, and they have made a promise to "do your best". Wearing the uniform is a way of saying these things to everyone who sees them.
Also, the uniform is where a Scout can display personal, den and pack achievements. Badges of rank, award emblems, special recognitions, and medals recieved at Cub Scout activities are sewn or pinned onto the uniform.
What does CLASS "A" mean?
When we say Class "A" we mean the full "dress" uniform made up of offical Cub Scout apparel.
Then what is CLASS "B"?
When we say class "B" we mean Scouts may wear a "Pack 46" logo T-shirt or a Generic Scouting Shirt. If not one of these, then the Scout should wear a plain color Shirt, or something that would be appopriate for Scouting. Class "B" is like "dress down" day at work.
