Privacy and Youth Protection
Personal Information
Pack 46 will not require the collection of personal information via the Web site. Any forms available, or linked from the Website are meant for use outside of the web site. Pack 46 will not require website users to provide personal information such as their name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.
Youth Participants and Parents
Pack 46 will not provide contact information for youth participants, or their parents or Legal Guardians on the Internet. Any contact information collected will be kept entirely off-line.
Adult Volunteers
Pack 46 will limit the contact information for adult volunteers to only what is necessary to provide information about joining, or supporting Pack 46. Adult volunteer contact information will require written authorization.
Any individual with can request the immediate removal or update of their contact information at any time. Requests can be made by using the “Contact us” link and submitting an e-mail, or by contacting the Pack 46 Cubmaster or Den Leaders.
Photographs and Names
Pack 46 policy regarding photographs of youth, is that no names will be associated with photographs, captions or ancillary text. Photographs of Adult Volunteers will be limited to a "first name only".
Pack 46 will publish photographs on its website which were provided by either Pack 46 Adult Volunteers, or by youth participants Parents, Legal Guardians or extended family.
Since photos will be obtained from various sources, every effort will be made to ensure that only tastefull and appropriate photos are post to the website.
It is assumed that by participating in Pack 46 events, that the use of photos for the website is permitted unless specifically documented.
To comply with privacy issues that could be implicated if a photograph is published on the Internet, any individual with can request the immediate removal of a photo at any time.
